Potential COVID-19 exposures at 2 Saskatoon malls, transit

The Saskatchewan Health Authority says there is potential exposure to COVID-19 at Saskatoon businesses where a person or persons attended while likely infectious.

The businesses affected include:

  • Sept. 24
    • Market Mall food court, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
    • Saskatoon Transit Route 19 or 83 (Market Mall to Centre Mall), from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.
    • Centre Mall, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Sept. 25
    • Market Mall, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
    • Market Mall, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

In a release, the city said the individual on the bus was wearing a mask and enhanced cleaning and disinfecting have taken place on the buses since the positive case was identified.

Public health officials advises people who were at these locations on the specified dates to self-monitor for 14 days, and if you develop symptoms of COVID-19, immediately self-isolate and call HealthLine 811, your doctor or nurse practitioner to arrange for testing.
